Loutro

The excursion to Loutro and Glyka Nera (Sweet Water Beach) offers one of the most authentic experiences of southern Crete, where the landscape remains untouched and the sea takes on a deep turquoise color. Loutro is a small seaside village accessible only by boat or on foot, charming visitors with its whitewashed houses, calm waters, and relaxed atmosphere that feels like a step back in time.

Afterwards, the boat continues to Glyka Nera Beach, a unique shoreline where fresh water springs flow directly from the sand and blend with the sea.

There, visitors can swim in crystal-clear waters, relax on the beach, or walk along the coast surrounded by impressive cliffs and dramatic scenery. The return journey completes a day filled with natural beauty, tranquility, and truly authentic images of the Cretan coastline.
